How can something almost so great start and end too soon?
One movie marathon night, my friends and I decided to watch "The Notebook" and fell inlove with the movie (for them, once more, for me, the first). Right after the movie, I stood up like one of those fools you see in movies or TV shows and invitingly said, "Let's go find our summer love!"
Days after, I found someone who defined that term. All of a sudden, out of the blue, someone showed me how special I can be, made me feel interesting, created a great bond, let me know what an almost perfect person I have found, and raised the possibility that I can once again fall inlove.
Weeks passed, feelings grew, contests happened--guessing games... "What am I wearing?"... And a sur-prize materialized right in front of me. Our hearts grew and got drunk with our feelings until those three words were uttered.
Days seemed to be incomplete without each other though distance kept our hands away from each other. Yet, our hearts beat as one.
Movies, parties, games, travels, food, alcohol, karaoke, pictures, presents...
Then, there were doubts, "third parties," friend issues, and the evanescent magic between us. Tears fell, goodbyes were bid, and nights were colder.
Summer love, it was. Sometimes, when I look back at those magical words uttered, I somehow wish that it'd be summer everyday... But it seems impossible, now. We don't know for sure. One thing I'm certain at the moment of writing this: I miss you.

Earthquake Galore on Wall
This is how news reach us these days. No need to send "Alert On" to 2366, you can just go see your wall. Facebook comes in handy at times.

Insidiously Insipid
Welcome to the house where friendship was formed. This place is owned by my friend Gabby’s uncle. Before it was renovated, my circle of friends would usually stay there and do whatever. But like most places that contained junks (things, not us), the house tells a lot of close-to-paranormal encounters. One Sunday movie night can be counted.
There were four of us; AB, Gabby, Taylor, and me. The living room was only illuminated by the glow of the television playing a horror movie. The eeriness of the film has already taken over the audience and one decided to drink a glass of water after a few gasps. Being the only one not afraid of darkness, I went to the refrigerator right behind us as it sat quietly at a corner in the absence of light. I took a pitcher and shared water to them.
As the movie unfolds an eerie scene as a guy tries to track down any paranormal presence in a house, silence drew in into the whole house and only the tube filled the air with sounds. In such moments, one anticipates an incoming jump scene; a sudden loud horrible music accompanying a shocking occurrence in the story. We had huge speakers on but a sound did not seem to come from them; the sudden bump and some short clinking sounds came from behind us. The two females with us looked back and on reflex, AB, Gabby, and even Taylor started to scurry out of the door with fright on their faces. When they started standing, I also checked the source of the sound: there was a warm firey light coming from behind our seats! A demon!?
I took a few steps away from my seat with what seemed like a scream (hey, I was shocked with their reaction and… Alright, alright, it almost seemed scary so why not react to it—if it were a movie, the scene would not sell without me fleeing and getting frightened). Then, it finally hit us: I left the fridge’s door not properly closed so it took minutes ‘til it completely opened and revealed the devils inside it, which are the bottles of beer and slices of cake.
The horrors in diet.
